QuickGuess – Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the QuickGuess mobile application ("QuickGuess", "the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information.
1. Who we are
- This policy covers the QuickGuess app published by MangaSaYambon.

- You may also reach us through the in-app support link or publisher email shown in the store listing.
2. What data we collect
QuickGuess is primarily an offline game. We collect only the data necessary to provide optional online features and in-app purchases:
A) Account and authentication
- Google Account profile data (display name, email, Google UID) via Firebase Authentication.
- Your Firebase user ID (App UID).
B) Gameplay and content you create
- Custom word lists (titles and words) for Guess, Charades, Yes/No, and Impostor modes. Stored locally and optionally synced to Firestore.
C) App state and entitlements
- Username: your chosen display name (optional, stored with your user document).
- Purchases and unlocks: a map of items you own (e.g., premium/feature flags, country packs, custom mode) stored with your user document.
- Coins or virtual currency balance: your coin balance used for unlocking features and country packs.
- Purchase history: records of in-app purchases made through Google Play Billing.
D) Device session status (one-device policy)
deviceStatusfields: deviceId (Android ID), signedIn (true/false), lastSignInTime (timestamp), deviceActive (true/false). Used to enforce one-device-per-account, support auto-logout after 30 days of inactivity, and improve security.
E) Diagnostics and security
- App Check tokens, error logs, and non-identifying analytics to maintain security and reliability.
We do not collect contact lists, precise location, microphone/audio recordings, photos, SMS, or sensitive personal information categories (health, biometric data, etc.).
Note on payment information: Payment processing for in-app purchases is handled by Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information, but Google Play may share purchase transaction data with us to process your purchases and sync them across devices.
3. How we use your data
- Sign you in and sync your data across the devices you own.
- Store and sync custom word lists you choose to upload.
- Sync your username across devices (if you set one).
- Apply purchases/unlocks and maintain coins across devices.
- Process and verify in-app purchases through Google Play Billing.
- Enforce one-device-per-account, auto-logout stale sessions, and prevent abuse.
- Protect our backend (Firebase App Check) and improve stability.
4. Legal basis
We process data based on your consent (sign-in and cloud sync), performance of a contract (delivering requested features), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement).
5. Where we store data
Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (region determined by Firebase) and on your device's local storage for offline access.
6. Sharing and third parties
- Firebase Authentication (Google) – identity management.
- Google Cloud Firestore – data sync and storage.
- Google Play Billing – in-app purchases and entitlements.
- Play Integrity / App Check – protect resources from non-legitimate clients.
- Google Play Services – for app functionality and In-App Review (if used).
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only as required to operate these services or comply with legal obligations.
7. Retention
- Account data remains while your account is active. Device session data auto-expires after 30 days of inactivity.
- Local cache is kept for offline use and can be cleared by you (e.g., through app data reset).
- Upon account deletion or request, we remove or anonymize associated data subject to legal obligations.
8. Your choices and controls
- Play offline without signing in (cloud sync disabled).
- Create, edit, and delete custom word lists.
- Sign out anytime to clear the active session and stop syncing.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of cloud data by emailing us with your account email and (if available) Firebase UID.
9. Security
We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, App Check (Play Integrity), HTTPS in transit, and Google Cloud encryption at rest. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Children's privacy
QuickGuess targets general audiences and is not specifically directed to children. If you are under the age threshold in your country (typically 13 or 16 depending on jurisdiction), use the app only with a parent or guardian's permission and in compliance with platform policies. Parents or guardians should be aware that the app includes in-app purchases. If a child provides personal data without consent, contact us to remove it.
11. International transfers
Your data may be processed on servers outside your country using Google's infrastructure and safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for new features, legal requirements, or security improvements. Material changes will be communicated via the app or store listing. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.

Summary
